About the Carolina Carillon

The 63rd Annual Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 featuring Hometown Holiday entries from all across the state of South Carolina!

The parade will begin at 9:45 a.m. at Gervais and Bull Streets and proceed west on Gervais. It will pass in front of the State House, and continue into the Vista to Park Street.

WIS-TV begins live statewide coverage of the parade at 10 a.m. from their broadcasting area, located on the corner of Main and Gervais, across the street from the State House. This telecast reaches over 40 counties in South Carolina as the Carillon is considered not only the Capitol City's premier parade, but The Official Holiday Parade of South Carolina.

With nearly 100 entries, last year's Carillon featured a number of festive entries, including The Swansea High School Marching Band, Shriners, City Year and others. This year there will be some very special SC celebrities, new high school marching bands, drill teams, local churches, dozens of beautiful floats, and of course, the most exciting part of the parade, Santa Claus!

Application Deadline is October 30, 2016. Applications received or post marked after this date will incur a late fee and will only be accepted if space is still available.
